In September, event and entertainment design firm TAIT hosted an internal company hackathon to build computational tools for their designers. They hired two external experts, one of whom was Ankur Moolky, fifth-year architecture student and computational design enthusiast.
The team was flown out to Amsterdam to meet at the Airworks Inflatables office, one of TAIT's most recent acquisitions. There, the hackathon members consulted with expert designers to fuel a two-day intensive computational design session, where the team prototyped tools for design pipelines.
